• Under 10 square metres of non-friable asbestos can be removed without a licence.
• Over that, a licensed asbestos removalist is required, and any friable material always requires one.
• It must never be high-pressure cleaned or dry cut.

Disposal is close at hand. Central Coast Council accepts household asbestos at the Woy Woy waste facility and at Buttonderry on Hue Hue Road at Jilliby, by prior booking, and only where the material was generated inside the Central Coast LGA.

We identify what is present during the inspection, say so plainly, and set out the compliant route in the quote. Because the old cottages were framed light, the end point is frequently a metal re-roof rather than tile.
